MADPATH - training on Molecular and Digital Pathology

📅 du 14 au 16 Avril 2026, Nantes, France

MADPATH is a 3-day training course initially designed for veterinary pathology residents as well as pathologists and researchers who wish to discover, increase their skills and improve their knowledge in molecular and digital pathology techniques. This course has been prepared by the French Society of Toxicologic Pathology, and the Veterinary School of Nantes (Oniris) in partnership with the European Society of Toxicologic Pathology (ESTP) in order to meet the educational needs of the future generation of pathologists and scientists who are more and more involved in these techniques. The courses will be given by experts in the field who will present the state of the art in both complementary fields.

Le thème de l’ophtalmologie est riche et les présentations couvriront non seulement les aspects techniques, scientifiques et réglementaires de l’évaluation de la toxicité oculaire dans le cadre du développement du médicament mais aussi les aspects spécifiques liés à l’évaluation des dispositifs médicaux ainsi qu’au développement de thérapies géniques.

23rd ESTP annual congress - Krakow

Le prochain congrès de l’ESTP aura lieu à Cracovie en Pologne.

Titre: ‘Beyond Morphology: The Pathologist’s New Toolbox In A Data-Driven Era’.

Invited speakers will address cutting-edge molecular technologies like spatial proteomics, metabolomics and MS imaging, new approach methodologies (NAMs), and the different applications of AI in toxicopathology. In addition, advances in the areas of genetically engineered animal models, alternatives to NHPs, group housing and virtual controls will be covered. The program will be balanced between brief introductions into selected methods, reviews of regulatory aspects and requirements for a strategic implementation in discovery and risk assessment, and ample core examples illustrating successes and limitations, predictability and translatability, and the pathologist’s role in the development and application of new tools and approaches.
